Resistant
DuPont TM Corian® is easy to maintain and extremely durable. It does not split or flake. It tolerates daily use well and can with- stand most of the knocks, scratches and cuts to which surfaces in heavily used areas are subjected. Corian® has been tested to ascertain the mechanical, thermal, electrical and other properties of its surface. Hygienic
DuPontTM Corian® is a non-porous material. It is compact throughout and can be installed without any joins, making the surface extremely hygienic. Corian® surfaces do not allow fungi and bacteria to grow. Corian® has been certified by an independent laboratory as a hygienic material according to international standard DIN EN ISO 846.

Easy to repair
Surfaces in DuPontTM Corian® can be restored to their original beauty using a normal, mild, abrasive detergent and an abrasive sponge.

Non-toxic
Du- Pont TM Corian® is an inert and non-toxic material. It does not release gases when exposed to normal temperatures. When it burns, it releases carbon oxides only. The smoke it produces has a limited optical density and does not contain toxic halogenated gases.

Full-bodied colours
The colours and decorative patterns run through the full thickness of the material and are therefore not subject to wear. DuPontTM Corian® is a solid material and does not split or flake.

Invisible joins
Bonding is invisible with this material and the overall effect is that of a continuous surface without any joins.

Ecological
DuPont TM Corian® is produced in compliance with strict regulations to limit waste and energy consumption at every stage of the production process. The material, adhesives and sealants used for installation produce low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and have been certified as GREEN GUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified®.
