Mineraltek requires frequent cleaning to protect its original qualities and prevent signs of wear. Some aggressive chemicals can damage Mineraltek surfaces. Product care is quick and easy. Most stains, limescale and dirt that may deposit on the surface can be removed with a damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge, and a standard, non-abrasive detergent. Rinse the surface thoroughly after cleaning. Avoid abrasive detergents and sponges. Do not use metal scrapers. This product is heat-resistant. However, avoid placing very hot objects or draining boiling liquids on the surface. Do not use aggressive chemicals such as acetone, trichloroethylene, solvents, acids or strong alkalines. Some substances such as ink, cosmetics and dye may release colourants on the surface; avoid contact with these substances. Do not rest lit cigarettes on the surface. Do not use cut directly on the surface.
